The winners of the 2008 Compact Awards were announced on Wednesday 5 November 2008 at the BAFTA ceremony in London hosted by Sir Bert Massie CBE, Commissioner for the Compact.
Count Me In! Counting the contribution of volunteers in Devon

Count Me In! is a project to count the amazing number of hours volunteers are doing in Devon.
We are contacting thousands of volunteers around Devon asking them to record the hours of voluntary activity they do. This will allow us to build a detailed picture of the enormous contribution volunteers are making and help us develop voluntary opportunities in Devon.

Three New Compact Codes of Practice - Consultation

The consultation period on the three remaining Compact Codes of Practice (Consultation & Policy Appraisal, Community Groups, Partnership) will begin in Compact Week. You have the opportunity to make comment on these Codes to ensure that they are ‘fit for purpose’ and best suited to what Devon needs. Local arrangements for consultation will be publicised by local Compact Champions.
