Compact Week 2009

A Compact for the future

‘A Compact for the future’ is the theme for this year’s Compact Week, which takes place from Monday 2 November to Sunday 8 November 2009. This national awareness week promotes the Compact, the longstanding agreement that sets out shared commitments and guidelines for partnership working between government and the voluntary and community sector.

Activities are taking place across England, all with the aim of promoting the Compact and encouraging greater understanding and wider implementation. Taking centre stage will be the publication of a revised and ‘refreshed’ national Compact and the announcement of the winners of this year’s Compact Awards.
